Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We’re committed to providing a smooth shopping experience, and we understand that sometimes a return may be necessary. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery on most items. To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

You must contact our support team for a return authorization before sending anything back. Items returned without approval will not be accepted.

We do not accept returns for international orders, custom-made items, or products marked as final sale.


Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Perishable goods (e.g., wild bird food, suet)
  • Clearance or final sale products
  • Gift cards and digital/downloadable items
  • Orders returned after 14 days from delivery

Fees & Deductions

Please note the following deductions apply to all eligible returns:

  • A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, even if your order qualified for free shipping.
  • A 5% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refund total.
  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at chirp@birdsupplydirect.com, with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
  2. Once approved, we’ll send return instructions.
  3. After we receive and inspect the return, refunds are issued within 5–10 business days to your original payment method, minus the fees outlined above.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A clear photo of the item and packaging
  • A brief explanation of the issue

If verified, we’ll issue a replacement or refund at no cost to you.


Late or Missing Refunds

Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your bank or credit card statement. If it’s been longer:

  • Check with your payment provider
  • Then contact us at chirp@birdsupplydirect.com if further help is needed
